Installation of a single-ply membrane is often faster as well.

Additionally, single-ply membranes offer a lightweight solution that can accommodate the sometimes unconventional roof designs of modern architecture.

Torch Down Roof (Single Ply or Modified Bitumen) is a newer type roofing material most often used on flat roofs (or sometimes called low slope roofing). This material usually comes in rolls and is applied to the roof deck with heat.

A flat roof is a type of covering of a building. In contrast to the sloped form of a roof, a flat roof is horizontal or nearly horizontal. Materials that cover flat roofs should allow the water to run off freely from a very slight inclination.
