Deluxe Cleaners (formerly called Maria’s Alterations and Cleaners) was founded by Maria Quito in 2007. Maria was born in Ecuador. Her father and grandfather were both tailors for many years. As she watched her dad work in the shop long hours she began to gain interest in tailoring and sewing at the age of 12 years old. At the age of 15 she was already working as a seamstress at a local clothing store. She then worked for many years in a few different clothing stores in Ecuador.
When she was 25 years old she moved to New York City to look for new opportunities. She worked for many years in big clothing factories such as Gap. This is where she gained more experience in high quality cut and tailoring. She also worked in factories where they used to manufactured bed sheets, drapes, suits and formal attire.
In 1999 she moved to Las Vegas where she was not able to find any clothing factories to work for. She then began to work as a presser for a local Dry-Cleaners. After a few years pressing she gained knowledge in the cleaning of clothing in general. After that she started to work doing alterations for all kinds of clothing from pants, jackets all the way to wedding dresses. Maria worked in the field for about eight years when she opened her own place in Henderson, NV.
Maria has worked in almost every job there is for the dry-cleaning and alterations business. She knows that you care about your clothes and the way you look. Therefore we offer fast, high quality dry-cleaning and alterations for super low prices.
