Clifford Avrit started A-Way Equipment, Inc. in 1990 and provided Farm Equipment and Supplies along with tree and stump removal services to customers in the Portland, TN area. In 2009, son Michael bought the tree and stump removal portion of the business, brought it to the Nashville area, and founded A-way Stump Removal. A-Way Equipment, Inc. still exists and primarily focuses on its core business of Farm Equipment and Supplies.
