Star Nursery began operations in Nevada in 1983. The company was then known as Southwest Landscape Supply, Inc. It was renamed Star Nursery, Inc. in 1986. We currently operate retail/commercial nursery outlets in the Las Vegas Valley, Pahrump and Southern Utah. Star Nursery is committed to supporting the communities we serve, and helping to establish a wide variety of successful and beautiful landscapes throughout the Desert Southwest.

In Las Vegas, we currently have 8 stores in operation throughout the valley. Including our location in the City of Pahrump, located at 911 Buol Road which opened in July, 2007. We look forward to providing our support for the growth of this wonderful community. Our stores and personnel incorporate everything we have learned about the nursery business over the last 30 years.

Our newest Las Vegas store, on West Tropicana is a beautiful location set to serve the southwest part of the valley. It is spacious, well laid out, has a huge, easy-to-shop plant yard and provides the biggest selection of everything the 'do-it-yourself' landscaper will ever need.

Star Nursery operations in Utah began in March 1992. We now operate 2 retail/commercial nursery outlets in the Southern Utah area. In the fall of 1998 we opened the second location. This one is located at the Old Washington Cotton Mill, one of the oldest buildings in the area. After purchasing the facility, Star Nursery did an extensive remodel and restoration on the old building and has accepted the position of caretaker of this historical site. With two stores in the southern region of Utah, St. George and Washington, there are terrific shopping opportunities for everyone from the home gardener to the professional landscaper.

In February 2001 we ventured into the national marketplace with the opening of a new on-line sales store. Enter the store from the home page or the site menu. It offers our complete line of dry goods including irrigation supplies, fertilizers, pest and disease control items, general gardening and landscaping items, a full line of water gardening products, and much more. Now including a complete line of Pet Products! We offer many of the same Items offered in our "Brick and Mortar Stores", and ship via exact shipping cost —no extra handling or shipping charges are applied. Our products and superior customer service have been enthusiastically received by folks all across the country.

The vigorous growth we have experienced over the last several years will continue well into the future. Plans are in place for more store additions and expansions as well as information system and point of sale upgrades. We are committed to providing all local and Internet shoppers with the best products, best value and most pleasurable shopping experiences possible!
