The Cowles Company was formed in 1996 by Memphis native, Bernard Cowles, as a small construction company catering to the needs of small families and young professionals looking to renovate. Soon Bernard realized the potential and value that urban in-fills and neighborhood revitalization offer to the local historic districts. The Cowles Company soon focused on such revitalization projects and began developing select locations and searching for new infill possibilities.

 

The Cowles Company has grown to become one of the premier residential developers in the greater Memphis area with quality homes in Cooper-Young, Evergreen, Central Gardens and Lakeland neighborhoods.
