These industry leaders and scientists launched the company in early 2010 with the goal of removing the technical constraints imposed by existing technology. Suntricity’s proprietary approach enables the manufacture of low cost, high-efficiency PV modules. We have reached the critical milestones in our science and engineering that allow the manufacture of modules at a fraction of current industry costs. Imagine using a low-cost ink and traditional roll-to-roll pattern printing techniques instead of semi-conductor processes to manufacture photovoltaics today and, in the near future, printing multi-junction cells with dramatically higher efficiency rates.
