About Us

BrookWood Construction & Engineers started with a vision by David Haines to combine product knowledge, engineering skills, and uncompromising craftsmanship in the design and construction of unique homes and commercial structures. That vision has been realized by the dedicated team assembled in BrookWood.

David Haines has over 30 years of experience in the design of building products used in today’s construction. He has lead the team that developed fiber cement siding for Cemplank (now a division of James Hardi). Additionally, David has designed a wide range of products including:

• Standing Seam Metal Roofing
• Brick Blends
• Ceramic Tile Underlayment Products
• Vinyl Siding
• Fiber Cement Slate Roofing
• Fire Protection Boards and Systems
• Curtainwall Systems

Having served with recognized standard setting organizations such as ASTM and NFPA, David has helped write the guidlines that insure todays building products meet the highest standards.
